About us

Fischer Farms indoor growing facility

Shaping the future of indoor farming

Fischer Farms is leading the way in scalable, precision growing, shaping the future of horticulture. With over a decade of experience in full climate-controlled agriculture, we are taking our learnings and knowledge to create real world, flexible solutions that can be adopted by a range of different industries.

Solving today's agricultural challenges

We believe our approach delivers better consistency and better plant quality than traditional farming, which is becoming increasingly unsustainable in the face of climate change and resource pressure.

Grown in a stacked, bio-secure, climate-controlled environment, our systems produce consistently high-quality output, all year round, using less water, less land and zero chemicals.

Our history

2016

The beginning

Established by green energy expert Tristan Fischer, we began operations in a shipping container, growing short leafy greens.

2019

Horticulture Farm

Our first vertical farm opened in Burton-on-Trent, providing 3,200 m² of growing space - one of the largest vertical farms in the UK at the time. Today it's our dedicated horticulture facility, growing pure, peat and bug-free houseplants for New Eden Plants.

2023

Norwich Farm

We started commercial production at our farm in Norfolk - one of the world's largest vertical farms. The 4-acre site at The Food Enterprise Park in Norwich houses 25,000 m² of vertically stacked growing space.

2025

Fischer Farms Technology

We launched Fischer Farms Technology - our next generation modular grow containers, empowering growers with reliable, year-round production and control.
