Fischer Farms Technology’s solution is built around the ‘FFT Smart Trolley’:
‘FFT Smart Trolleys’ are space-efficient with integrated lighting and sensors. Trolleys can be configured for different tray heights and can be manually or automatically moved through all of the different processes of your growing cycle.
The trolleys are docked in ‘Cultivation Containers’. These are climate-controlled ISO modules with precise control over temperature, humidity, CO2, and airflow. They are readily cleanable to maintain the highest hygiene standards.
When you have mastered growing in one container, you are ready to scale your operations as you add multiple containers.
Powered by an open-source operating system, our platform integrates seamlessly with tools like Priva and Hoogendoorn for complete remote control.
The Modular Farm
The FFT Plant Factory is a truly scalable modular farm. Whether you are growing leafy salad greens, propagation plugs, saplings, or other specialized horticultural products, the FFT Plant Factory grows with your business every step of the way.
The FFT Plant Factory combines multiple cultivation containers with supporting infrastructure to build a fully containerized precision growing operation. Each system is modular by design, enabling operations to start small and expand as needed. A grower can start with 10 cultivation containers (960m2 of useful agricultural space) and rapidly expand to 20, 60, and 120 cultivation containers.
The future of vertical farming is modular, simple, financially flexible and highly scalable.
Getting Started
The FFT Starter Farm is the perfect way to get started and test operations before scaling up with a fully-fledged FFT Plant Factory. Featuring The FFT Smart Trolleys, a climate-controlled cultivation container and an irrigation unit, the FFT Starter Farm allows you to trial growing recipes, monitor performance, and fine-tune workflows in a cost-effective environment.
The results that you get in this container will work at scale in a fully-fledged Plant Factory. Place it in a warehouse or greenhouse and get growing straight away. Ideal for pilot programs, R&D, and investor demonstrations, this unit provides a seamless pathway toward a scaled solution.
