Fischer Farms introduces New Eden Plants, bringing vertically farmed houseplants into UK homes

Vertical farming leader, Fischer Farms, is expanding its New Eden brand into a new category, with the launch of New Eden Plants – a range of UK-grown, vertically farmed houseplants designed for modern homes. 

Building on the success of its New Eden salad and leaf range, the move marks a natural next step for the brand, extending its purpose of “greater food for the greater good” into the home.  

New Eden Plants brings the same trusted principles – purity, local growing and care for the environment – into a category where consumers are increasingly seeking reassurance, transparency and sustainability. 

The launch comes as interest in houseplants continues to grow across the UK, driven by a desire to bring nature indoors and create healthier, more considered living spaces. New Eden Plants responds to this shift with a new generation of houseplants that are not only beautiful, but thoughtfully grown to be better for people, families, homes and the planet. 

Grown in Fischer Farms’ advanced vertical farming environments, each plant is nurtured in carefully controlled conditions from seedling to store. This indoor approach allows plants to thrive without exposure to pests or external contaminants, resulting in houseplants that are bug and peat-free. 

By moving production indoors, New Eden Plants also delivers meaningful environmental benefits. The process uses significantly less land and water than traditional growing methods, while enabling local UK production that reduces transport miles and supports a lower carbon footprint.
