With over 30 years of experience in the food industry, Di has a proven track record of driving growth and transformation. Her career includes senior roles at Greencore PLC, where she served as Divisional Managing Director and, later, as UK CEO.
Di also led the turnaround of Karro Foods as CEO, growing company revenue from £400 million to £1.2 billion, and overseeing its successful sale to Capvest LLP in 2017. Following this, Di led the company through further growth, with several successful acquisitions, including Young’s Seafood. Karro Foods’ EBITDA grew eightfold under her leadership, and the company reached new heights until its acquisition by a Canadian buyer in 2021.
Di continues to offer her expertise to select food businesses in the private equity sector, including BBF Cakes, Karnova Foods, and Hovis. As Non-Executive Chairman, Di plays an instrumental role in supporting Fischer Farms ambitious expansion plans, extending market reach and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in vertical farming.
